OH! This can be done with the BLOG APP as long as we have a layout for the category page that looks like this and a few tweaks to the functionality for time and date adjustments and maybe a couple other small tweaks.

Hi,

Yes, you absolutely right, with Gridbox 2.2.3 you can disable post info and picture in the category layout :)

Many thanks,

Yes, but it is still lacking in having the time of an event as an entry. I can manipulate the other content to a new layout in a new theme but missing time and location as data entries.

It would also need to be laid out like a list of events by date like this one.

www.harvestbiblechapel.org/events/

I guess it's not really fully there yet for this exact type of event app. So maybe you could build a specific event app?

Here are the details of the app

Each event is associated with a single date. Each date is displayed once with events grouped by date.

Each event has a time, title, and location. They are all linked to the event content.

The event content view has 6 elements.
1. Date
2. Time
3. Title
4. HTML Content
5. Location
6. Link back to all events

Hi, Chuck!

First of all I want to say - I'm really sorry for the delay with a reply!
It's really impressive! Thank you for so detailed instruction. But building Apps for Gridbox is not a task for few days. We'll save your instruction.

For the moment I can recommend you to find you some event extension on the JED

Many thanks,

Well, I've been through the JED several times now. I wonder how hard this would be with Gridbox?

I noticed this topic has gotten a lot of views. Is there any plans on creating an Events Calendar like this one?

If I'm making a list of events, it would be nice if the category layout would sort by custom field so all events would just be listed in calendar order.

Also, would help to have a field "button".

And a little more design control over the layout.

But still amazing!!!!
