Hi,
Yes it is possible to "simulate" table with Gridbox basic functionalities.
But it lacks important functions :
* automatic line coloring
* sorting the table by column headers
* easy to add, remove cells, rows and columns
* group rows, columns (accordion style)
* any addon in cells
* number the lines or not
* basic calculation functions on rows or columns
* other to be defined
