Hey Guys,

it would be great to improve the cookie options and get them EU / DSGVO compliant.
Visitors should be able to allow / decline cookies and choose which cookies they want to allow.

Probably a smaller update, to design websites with meeting legal requirements.

Greets,
Sebastian

@gcolella:
Do you use any Joomla Extension for this?
Can you recommend one, which is compatible with Gridbox?

Thank you and greets,
Sebastian

Hi Sebastian, I often use storejextensions.org/extensions/gdpr.html.
This plugin is not easy to configure but it has the possibility of integration with baform.
I would like a simpler solution made by balbooa.

Hi G.
Thanks for replying and your advice :)
You buy GDPR once and can use it in many projects, right?

Hi Sebastian, sorry for the delay of this reply.

Absolutely yes! You can find all the information on storejextensions.org/faq.html

If you want more information before buying it, you can download the complete documentation: we.tl/t-h6b2A4OY4n

Hi Marek,
thank you!
I took a closer look to cookiesconsent.com.
Seems pretty easy.
But do i have to add all javascripts manually? How do i see, which are used on my website?
When i click on "decline all cookies", i think nothing is really blocked on the page?

Perhaps you have more experience with that solution.

Greets,
Sebastian

Hi, I have implemented this solution that G mentions. It works with Gridbox Balbooa. Nightmarish to set up, but you can count on the help of JExtensions Store. Importantly, you can export settings to other sites. Test site www.srv46174.seohost.com.pl/pompyc/

Hello Marek
It doesn't work on your website.
When I press read more the box disappears downwards.
I do not want to have any foreign plugins and components on my website.
They are not trustworthy for the future and are gone after a few years.
Therefore, the balbooa team should do it for us.

On which browser do the settings disappear? I checked on two different sites. Honestly, I don't have time to wait for a solution from Balbooa anymore. I had to buy a 50 Euro Joomla! GDPR plugin for clients. It has a cool feature that scans for used cookies and domains and automatically classifies them in the appropriate category - I wouldn't have embraced this on my own, I don't have the time. When connected to ChatGPT it automatically generates the cookie and privacy policy for your website.
