Thumbnail dimensions

Is it possible to change the dimensions of the thumbnails in the Gallery Settings to control both height and width?

Currently I can enter one value, which controls both. Ideally I'd like to have images show at 280px high by 180px wide.
My current code hides the overflow, but this isn't ideal.

I can recommend you to select "Random Grid Layout" it display images in the original proportions



So you need, with help of any Image editor make your Photos with dimension 16:9 and upload images to the Gallery
