Help! Gallery thumbnails keep refreshing page

I installed lated version and after loading gallery on a page, the thumbnails keep reloading endlessly.
Pgae is refreshing non-stop.

This was in another thread - what is the solution?

My site is public and I need this fixed please.

OK - seems to be behaving now.

I would still like to know what the cause is for this for future installs.

I have the same issue, when I unpublish the gallery the site works, a soon as I publish it keeps refreshing the thumbnails and my site goes offline
