Hi, I would like to change the way thumbnails are created in Grid Layout. I would like to just resize images instead of cropping them. Can you just point me to file where you resize thumb for this layout... Or maybe give me the .js code I need to change :)

Thanks in advance...

Hello,

We recommend you use Masonry or Justified Grid Layout
These layouts do not crop images.

Yeah, I get that you do... but I have a large amount of images that are quite different sizes, so it doesn't work for me. It si all messed up with that two layouts... I just need the path to file and/or line that resizes images for grid layout...

Thanks

Grid layout provides only square images
If you change them, gallery will not be built correctly.

That's why I need grid layout. I want to create square thumbs, but instead of cropping in the center of image I will set it to resize image and then crop...so my image would't be cut up and down...

For example: I have a picture of chair on white background. In current grid layout it cuts chair up and down. I will set it to resize image and then to create square thumb, so the chair is whole on thumb...

Hello,

You can modify filegallery.php(components/com_bagallery/controllers/gallery.php)
function showImage()
But after the update, all changes will be lost.
