Hi there,

I am really a fan of balbooa and it would be great, to find a solution for my problem.

I am using Yootheme Pro inserting a gallery into an article works without problems, but inserting a gallery into e.g. text or grid element of Yootheme Pro is not working (please see attached picture). You can click on the gallery (catergorie), but the shortcode e.g. [gallery ID=1 category ID=3] will not be inserted.

Is there a chance, that this will be implemented or do you have any other proposal or workaround for me?

Cheers Markus

We received your access but did not immediately understand what the issue was.
In the future, attach a link to the forum post to the letter

Hm, don't know, what you exactly mean, because I tried to describe the problem in my first post above, which is support.balbooa.com/forum/joomla-gallery...n-a-yootheme-element.

The Problem is:

Inserting a Balbooa gallery in an Joomla article works like a charme.
Inserting a Balbooa gallery (as you can see in the jpg I attached before) in a Yootheme element doesn't work.

I don't know, if you are familiar with Yootheme, but I guess you are.

As you can see on the jpg, I can click on the + symbol and choose "gallery" to insert the shortcode for the gallery. A small window opens and I can choose the gallery and the category, but the shortcode can't be inserted.

This is very pity, because during this action, I cannot see how the shortcode will be, e.g.[gallery ID=1 category ID=3].

Don't know, what I can write more to make you understand my problem. Hopefully it is now more clear.

Cheers Markus

Hello Markus,

Sorry for the delay in a reply!

Directly right now I can recommend you use shortcodes

[gallery ID=1]
[gallery ID=1 category ID=3]

Please check the screens:

Also, we have saved added galleries on your site, article Balbooa

Ok.

So what I understood is, that inserting the shortcode with a click on "gallery" is not possible.

And You propose to have a look at the gallery ID and a look on the category number and then write down myself the shortcode in the right notation e.g. [gallery ID=1 category ID=3]. Is that right?

That's how I did it until now, but for the future it is not very comfortable, especially if one of my customers have to do so.

Do You think, You can/will fix this lateron in a newer version of the Balbooa Gallery?

Thx anyway
Markus

Markus,

It's a "quick-fix" solution that allows you to continue working on the site and adding galleries to pages.

If you can give us a few days we can explore this question more closely and try to provide you with a fully-featured solution, ok? :)
