Dear Sirs,
I just started today.
I activated license on my online domain, but how can I manage the gallery offline in my XAMPP?
I even tried to download the sql-data from the online version but this does not work offline.
I don't want to work only online on my company website because this means if there will be any crash this will cause big harm to my company. Even working online is too slow, offline would be much faster...

Is there any possibility to work offline with Joomla Gallery too?

Thank you very much for your quick response.

Best regards
Oliver

Hi Oliver,

Deactivate subscription on your online site, install Gallery to localhost and activate subscription there, how to activate / deactivate you can find here:
www.balbooa.com/joomla-gallery-documentation/license

Many thanks,

Dear Artem,
Thank you for you quick reply.
I already tried this before.
Offline in XAMPP there appears no button to activate (see attached screenshot) - so no activation in offline-modus to work on the weppage is possible?

Any other way?

Best regards
Oliver

Oliver,

Looks like you have installed the free version of the installation package. Delete it, login to your profile, and download the pro version of the Gallery, install it to your localhost and activate ;)

Dear Artem,
That was the issue to my problem. :cheer:
I installed the free version first for testing, then I decided to buy the license and just added the installation of the license version without deleting the free version first.
Could be a problem for those customers who want to upgrade from free to paid version after a longer period of using.
Thank you for your kind help, my problem is solved
Best regards
Oliver
