Gallery suddenly deleted

Has anyone else had a problem with saving a gallery, then having ALL the images and their titles/descriptions disappear after saving?

I just lost a week's worth of work, so as you can imagine I am frustrated and wanting to see if there's a solution of any kind.

Very strange, no one has previously reported about such problems.
After what action did the gallery disappear,
during the week while you were making the gallery and saving it, everything worked well?
