Disqus and Gallery - problem with comments

Hello to all,
I have a little problem with comments on disqus and gallery.

There is a gallery with an article, and when i enter this article my url looks linke this: /photos/ and when i clik on a photo it changed to /photos/??photo (filter is active and first category is selected). Here i comment photo on disqus.

Then i go to other category, and come to the first one. My url looks like this: /photos/?cat1 and again when i click on a photo it changed to /photos/?cat1??photo and comment is gone (other url).

Is there a way to change something in order to url shows, on enter to page, first category (/photos/?cat1) instead of no category (/photos/).?

I hope someone will understand my english and help

Hello,

It is possible, but you need to remove categories from the url.
To do it you need at the ba-gallery.js ( ./components/com_bagallery/assets/js/ba-gallery.js) to remove the line 618: window.history.pushState(null, null, href);

or maybe there is another way to ensure that comments will be properly assigned to specific photo (regardless of category).

If it's possible for you, I can recommend you to disable category All or use Album mode layout.

I disabled category "All". The problem, mentioned above, occured with category All - disabled.
When page is open, all the photos of category 1 are shown with url /photos/ but when i click on category 1 my url changes to /photos/?cat1 and still the same photos are shown.

Unfortunately album mode doesn't fit into my needs

If you don't have a lot of comments, I can recommend you to disable category All.

Yes, you will lose some comments, but all images will be visible only from 1 url
www.example.com?category-name?photo-name

and future comments will be always visible

My site is under construction, i can unblock my site and send you link but in any form of private message (or mail). I'm sorry - i can send to your support mail if i'm allowed to.

Like i said - i do have disabled category all, i have three categories (Nebulaes, Galaxies and Old Ones). When i open the page category Nebuales is active but there isn't /?nebulaes us url, when i click on this category again in url appears /?nebulaes.

I do have one comment (mine ) right now so i want to solve this issue before i will open my site to anyone

I have another issue - regardless of what I set in thumbnail witdth and height of thumbnail image - they are always 300x300px (and i tried to change % of compression too).
Can you look into this one too?

i just looked at gallery, and they are still categories in the url and thumbnails are in 300x300px instead of 600x600px.

Hello,

At admin panel we changed thumbnail width to 600 px and save .
We made some changes in the ba-gallery.js and it works fine.
You can check.

But my first problem remains with url and comments. After entring gallery i have url without category and after clicking on category my url changes with /?category.
