1. Be sure that the email system in your Joomla is configured
Joomla admin➝ Global Configurations ➝ Send Test Email

2. Be sure that your Form include input with field type Email

3. Check your Spam Folder

Hi Artem,

We checked this suggestion as I found it in another post. Because we already have the earlier version 1.7.5 working, we know the system emails work and interact with the form as intended.

Is there anything else that could be preventing the 'submit' not working in version 2.0.2?

Could there be a conflict with the recaptcha? or

We have admin tools and .htaccess marker. Does the form need access to any particular files I may need to add exceptions for?

Appreciate any more suggestions.

Thanks
Britt

Try to set @gmail.com for admin and check email sending. If it doesn't help send us Joomla admin access using our contact form: support.balbooa.com/contact-us

I have this working now, but it 100% will not deliver to gmail directly. Not sure what it means, but that is what I discovered, it does not go to spam, it does not get delivered.

Hi,

I´ve got the same problem. My form does neither send emails nor save the message in the backend. In the frontend it says that the message was sent.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in regards!

I have problem with emails. Sometimes emails will be sent and sometimes not. There are 3 email receivers, me as administrator, form handler and form submitter. When this happens, no one will get email.

Hello,

Does the form include any attachments (upload file field or Submissions in PDF)? Will be great to get a link to the form and access to the admin panel. We'll be able to check what is going there.

To send access data use our contact form:

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

Try to update manually, don't forget to make a backup

1. Clear your browser cache.
support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050...form%3DDesktop&hl=en
2. Login to your profile on Balbooa.com and download extension installation package.
3. From the backend of your Joomla site (administration) select Extensions >> Install/Uninstall.
4. Click the Browse button and select the extension package on your local machine.
5. Click the Upload File & Install button.
6. Clear your Joomla and Browser cache.

Environment: Joomla 4.3.4, PHP8.0.30 (same problem with 8.1.X), MySQL DBase 5.7.43, BAForms 2.2.0.2

Today I noted this issue:

1. Emails not being sent to admin or customer
2. Web front end shows thank you message upon submission
3. No data is stored in Submissions (PhpMyAdmin shows no entries in xxxx_baforms_submissions

Tests performed:

1. Used the " Send Test Mail" function of Global Settings. Email arrived immediately as expected.
2. Took backup
3. Cleared browser cache (not cookies, only data).
4. Downloaded latest extension installation package pkg_BaForms_2.2.0.2.zip
5. From the backend, installed this version
6. Cleared Joomla and Browser caches.

Problem still persists.

I can provide admin access if needed.

Since a few weeks we have a similar problem.
One of the forms doesn't work. All other forms are working.
We have already uploaded and replaces latest BaForms plugin V2.2.0.2
After hitting submit button, the browser console shows an error

Dear Sir
The missbehaving form ID#2 is very old and was created some years ago with an old BaForms version.
All newer forms are working as expected.
Sending test mail is working as expected.

So we conclude, that the problem must be in the datasets of the misbehaving form.

Can you give us a technical hint, so we can search and solve to problem ourselves?
