Is there a way to autofill the fields. We need some hidden fields (we made a css class customhidden with display none, which succesfully hides the field) but we would need the field to be autofilled with predefined values in our case "source". We need it for integration with mailchimp. Thanks.

Thanks. But we need the autofill (prefill) option. We are willing to pay for this integration since it should not take a lot of your time, we do believe it would be beneficial for you as well. Let me know what the cost would be for this. If this will be an option in your 2.0 version of the forms, we can wait if not please include this in 2.0 as well. Thanks

Hello,

Solution For Mailchimp
Go to:
/administrator/components/com_baforms/controllers/form.php

Line 88, Find
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'https://' . $host . '.api.mailchimp.com/3.0/lists/'.$listId.'/merge-fields');

Replace On
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_URL, 'https://' . $host . '.api.mailchimp.com/3.0/lists/'.$listId.'/merge-fields?count=100');

Autofill
Usually we do not provide custom work. Can you please show us some real example with a "autofill" feature or provide better explanation

Many Thanks,

Thanks for your help. We will check this ASAP. As for the autofill (prefill) option. We need the ability to set DEFAULT VALUES for fields. Look attached photos. This is not PLACEHOLDER. This is a value which is prefilled when displaying the form and is the default value and it can be changed if the customers puts something else in the field. If the customer leaves it, then the default value is send with other form data. Check how Breezing Forms has this solved. I do believe then you will understand. Thanks.

Hello,

Here is solution for Autofill

1. For fields which should include Default Values add class suffix input-with-default-value

2. Add your value into the field "Placeholder". Field placeholder will work like an input for default values

3. Add this code into the custom.js file, in your template
jQuery(document).on('ready', function(){
     jQuery('.input-with-default-value').find('input, textarea').each(function(){
         this.value = this.placeholder
     });
});

Many thanks,
