Hi Artem and Team,

I've just come across a little bug in the Cart Quantity fields.
On mobile devices a user can not type in quantity below 10, as BaForms will automatically insert a 1 as soon as the user deletes it.

Only way around this, is to
a: select/highlight the 1 and replace with a new number.
b: type the new number after the 1, then move cursor to delete the 1

this is not suitable for regular internet users....because people are stupid :P

Hopefully there will be a fix for this in the next update.

Thanks Guys.

Hi,

Yes. you are right... very interesting.
By the fact it's a script protection, which not allows customers to enter 0 or - 1...

But your arguments are very convincing! We will remove this protection with the next update

Many thanks,

Hi Artem,

Yeah this security is very important, because the cart doesn't handle zero very well, usually duplicates products if encountering a zero.

I dont think you should remove this feature, it's a safeguard against people who aren't careful.

I think best option is to "check/update" field value when focus is removed from the field. This way you are free to enter whatever value when field is in focus, but when it leaves focus, the script checks the value and update if it's needed.

so yeah, please dont "remove" the check/validate, just make it happen when field focus is removed.

or maybe you have a better idea?

It's a nice idea. Thank you!

not a problem, you're welcome.

I was looking at ba-forms.js to try this idea, but no luck so far. I will have another look later tonight.

on another note.. just a little CSS override from ba-style.css which affects bootstrap .btn-default
You should change your selectors to target only ba-forms buttons.

.com-baforms .btn-default

Thanks.
