Is there a way to extend the maximum amount of numbers that you can fill in in the phone-number field?

thank you - but some phone numbers are 8 digits, some 9, 10,11 or 12.

when I extend it to 12 - a shorter value is not accepted.

In this case, it is better for you to use not the phone field,
you need to use the number type in the input field
