Dynamic Phone Number Length in Form

Hello. I need help with the contact form. In Germany we have short telephone numbers (5 numbers) but also very long telephone numbers (up to 15 numbers). I don't need a fixed length of the characters but it has to be dynamic to use long but also short phone numbers. Is it possible to remove this limitation so that customers can write to me with both short and long phone numbers?

You can use a different field type (numeric) without checking for character count
