calculation (or multiplying) between 2 fields

Dear reader,

I have a question about a booking form.

I like to make a calculation (or multiplying) between 2 fields.
In this case field 2 is “NUMBER OF ADULTS”, field 1 is “NUMBER OF NIGHTS”.
At the end price, the price of field 2 needs to be calculated (or multiplied) with field 1.

Example 1: 1 night for 2 adults needs to have a total price of “270” (2x135)
Example 2: 2 night for 2 adults needs to have a total price of “540” (2x270)
Do you have a solution?

Second ‘problem’: there are special prices for KIDS (field 3)
Example 1: 1 night for 2 childs needs to have a total price of “150” (2x75)
Example 1: 2 night for 2 childs needs to have a total price of “300” (2x150)
Do you have a solution?

Third: there must be a combination between a booking with adults AND childs: but how?
I think I can not make field 3 a required field.


Basics: 1 adult per night is 135,-
Basics: 1 child per night is 75,-

Did I understand correctly?! Should be:
(Number of nights * Number of adults) + (Number of nights * Childs (0-12 years)

Also, cart at the end of your form will be disabled

- What do you mean with: “cart at the end of your form will be disabled”.

- Will it still be possible to pay via PayPal (because cart will be disabled)?

It is approved by my client.
The calculation is: (Number of nights * Number of adults) + (Number of nights * Childs (0-12 years)
It is ok if we skip the cart.

We need 2 forms, one form REGULAR SEASON, second form HIGH SEASON.
REGULAR SEASON: Adults: US$ 110.00 per person per night
Kids: US$ 55.00 per child under per night
HIGH SEASON: Adults: US$ 135.00 per person per night
Kids: US$ 75.00 per child per night

Thanx for your help.
I tried the form online, but found out that if I select the number of childs, and I choose 0 (zero) childs, I see the price for 0 childs is 52.
I filled in: 2 nights x 2 adults (230) x 0 childs (52) x 2 rooms. The total price on the form was 564. This is wrong: this needs to be 2 x 230 = 460.
I got an error at the end.

Open form in the admin panel and replace to your values, remove price from the value Child - 0

How was this achieved, as it is something needed for a number of my forms as well.

All forms are working, thanx for the good helpdesk!

I managed to make 3 different forms, 2 for booking, 1 for reservation.

So I am very happy with the result and the help from the helpdesk.
