I have a working code with an ulpload form. I have added an INSERT in the end, which seems to have errors. How can I debug the code? Is therre any way I can use echo $query and exit; with Forms Submit Button PHP?

I have turned on the Joomla debug feature, but form just redirects to the same page and I can't echo or exit.

Right now it is try and error.

I am using data tags, which do work with the first part of the code (UPDATE), but INSERT as said seems to have issues. I need to see what the actual mysql query says.

Code is working now.
My mistake.

I could INSERT my query to a log table now.

Is there a better way to debug?

Thank you for contacting us

It's great that you found the solution yourself
You can make changes to file ba-form.js (components/com_baforms/assets/js/ba-form.js)

then the fields will not be cleared after sending, and an error will be visible in the console
