Hi.

I found a bug: paragraphs missing bottom margin. It uses in all editors by default... but missing in Gridbox.

To fix it need to add custom CSS code:
p {margin-bottom: 15px;}

Why it so?

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

This is not a bug.
Gridbox is very flexible and allows you to customize everything as you need (Line Height).

If you need this code, you can add it to the code editor.

But line height not the same as margin between paragraphs :) This margins is basic style for every page... strange that Grdibox ignore it, so if I need few paragraphs I need to write Custom CSS or use Text Plugin for each paragraph.

Hi there,
i have the same problem on my site. I want to set a different line height / margin bottom at the end of a paragraph. But i dont know how to set a value for it. If i change the line height, the height of every single line within the paragraph changes.

I dont want to add an extra <br> or <p> tag for more space between two paragraphs... Using custom css by adding margin-bottom for paragraph elements does not work....

Please see the attached screenshot:

As you can see in the screenshot, there is no extra space between the two paragraphs displayed on the page. The extra space in the text editor (on the right) is not applied on the text.

Can you help to this problem?

best regards,
David

In the meantime I have found a workaround for the problem:
In the gridbox.css the standard value for all headlines and paragraphs is set to 0.
body{
-webkit-text-size-adjust: none!important ;
}
.footer h1,
.footer h2,
.footer h3,
.footer h4,
.footer h5,
.footer h6,
.footer p,
.header h1,
.header h2,
.header h3,
.header h4,
.header h5,
.header h6,
.header p,
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) h1,
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) h2,
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) h3,
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) h4,
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) h5,
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) h6,
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) p {
margin: 0;
}

I changed the value only for component paragraph:
[...]
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) h2,
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) h3,
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) h4,
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) h5,
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) h6 {
margin: 0;
}
.com_gridbox:not(.modal) p {
margin: 0px 0px 15px 0px;
}

Really dont know if this is only a strange workaround - but now there is for example a 15px space under each "paragraph" tagged text. So this works for me right now.. Maybe someone of you guys could tell me if this is a good solution for the problem or not. My HTML and CSS knowledge is very limited.

best regards

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us!

You can go to the source code and add the required style manually or just add <br>
