Hi,

Am I correct the Joomla breadcrumb module will always include the Gridbox category names too?
Is there anything we can do about that? Maybe some workaround?

Breadcumbs like these look silly: Home > products > productX > productX > ..

Paul

Hi Sergey and Artem,

Thanks for your replies!

Please confirm it works with categories (so blog app pages, not single pages).

That would be great! Then please let me know how, or you might as well add the solution to this post in which you mentioned "Unfortunately there is no possibility to hide categories and subcategories in breadcrumbs": support.balbooa.com/forum/gridbox/5066-blog-categories#23267.

Yes!

But the correct path should be:

Home > category > product
or
Home > category > subcategory > product

at your example I can see double repeating of the category name.

We are talking about this website?
one.mrsa-net.nl/nl/informatie/mrsa/behan...ling-heeft-ondergaan

Hi Artem,

I ended up moving all subcategories to own blog apps, now the breadcrumb works fine. If you ever come up with a solution please post it in this topic (and that other topic I referred to).

Hi Artem,

While making a sitemap I noticed my a.m workaround leads to duplicate content, for example:

onehealthhub.nl/nl/informatie-publiek/mr...andelen-verloop-mrsa

onehealthhub.nl/nl/informatie-publiek/mr...andelen-verloop-mrsa...

So 'algemene-informatie-mrsa' is the part that needs to be in the url as you can see in the menu.

Any idea how to not get duplicate content with gridbox blog app?

Paul

Hello, Paul

You need to add a menu item with a blog.
Then all links to this post will go through the blog menu item,
and not through the parent menu item.
