Hey Guys

a Plugin set code in my website, which i would like to delete.
I know, its not really a gridbox topic. But perhaps you can help me?
How can i delete a code manually?
Deinstalling the plugin didn't help.

Thank you and greets,
Sebastian

Hi Vyacheslav,

i have two websites with that problem:

neonlicht.media
localsbodensee.de

Search for consentmanager

Sideinfo:
The plugin is from www.consentmanager.net/cookie-consent/
When i have it activated ,do some changes with gridbox and safe them, the consentmanager code is added to the page one more time.
When i have it deactivated the plugin, the code is not added one more time after saving changes to my page.

This is really not related to our component,
we can only suggest that you disable the plugin when editing

Sebastian,

Try to disable the plugin in the admin panel, after that re-save the Gridbox page.
Let us know results

Hi Artem

did some more Testing on page www.localsbodensee.de

Here my results:

when I have the plugin active, I now have the code snippet 11 times in the source code.

when I deactivate the plugin, six of the snippets are removed and the remaining 5 are left.

If I then open, for example, the home page in Gridbox and click save, two more snippets are added. So now with inactive plugin I have 7 code snippets on my page.

So Gridbox seems to add the code twice when the code is present on the page.

Can you check why Gridbox is adding these codelines after safing and how i can remove them?

Let me know, if you need more information or access to joomla / backend / ftp.

Sebastian,

I need to ask a question. As I can see the plugin with Cookies banner is disabled in Plugins manager, but it displaying on the site, even if it is disabled.

It's also a problem, right?

Hi Artem,

yes, its displayed, because the deactivation of the plugin only takes away the six standard code snippets. All the others, which where generated via saving in gridbox, still are in the source code. At the moment seven.
Thats why the consentbanner is still shown.

The Plugin sets in standard six code snippets and takes it away again, when you deactivate the plugin.
If you do some changes in gridbox with a activated plugin, the code is set once more when you save them.
On this way, the code comes to often in the code and isn't taken away by deactivating the plugin.
It seems, that two code snippets where aways added when saving via gridbox.

The question was resolved via email. Solution - disable the plugin before visiting the Gridbox editor
