Hello, this just started happening and I can't figure out why. On most pages, not all for some reason, when you first load them the header moves down about 50px or so then goes back up. Any ideas?

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

Most likely this happens because you have deferred loading enabled
and until the styles are loaded you see this jump.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

This jump can be seen because css has not yet been applied,
in order to hide this unwanted effect,
we can suggest you use a preloader

This is something new. It has not been happening the whole time. Something new has happened.

A preloader will not work. I can't have a preloader on every page load.

The problem is visible because your preloader has a transparent background.
Describe in detail after what actions this problem appeared

Try to enable page caching,

if it doesn't help send us access and we will try to find a solution

Hello, I do have caching on.

What I think happened is I added a button that was to be for registered users under the other button that is currently on there. This issue started happening so I deleted the new button but the issue persists. So the CSS or some remnant of the old button must still be there. It never did this until I tried adding the button.

I sent admin access but I'll have to send FTP. I forgot about that.

It seems that the jump appears when the page is loaded for the first time at the moment of connecting the font.
You can see how the header looks without the connected font (the text takes 2 lines - the height is larger)

You need to add the CSS code in your code editor
#item-179497138805 > .ba-menu-wrapper > .main-menu > .integration-wrapper > ul,
#item-16046009820 p {
    white-space: nowrap;
}

Tell us the result

Hello, after looking into this a bit. I am confused why this was not happening before the last update or some other change? It was working fine for a long time.

The other thing is I researched Google Fonts and see it's possible to actually host them locally so they load faster. How does your system work? Are they served locally or from Google? Supposedly the browser should cache the fonts? So why would this happen on every page load if they are cached after the first page load?

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us!

As you can see in the video,
nimb.ws/UpGmzf
the problem is visible only on the first load,
after the fonts are cached in the browser.
How to use local fonts is described in this post
