Input date in portfolio not working

Hi,

I have a very strange case. I am using a portfolio app and added a date input field. I could enter dates by clicking on the calendar icon, a calendar opened and I could choose the date. I entered about 20 items and since yesterday the calendar does not open any more. Any idea what could have happened?

To find a solution I changed the field from date to input text, saved and changed it back with the only result that all dates I had entered until yesterday are all gone now. Very sad.

Date is just a date value.
Event date - interacts with the event calendar plugin (displays the event)
