Is there any way to archive the previous forum? Although we ask a lot of questions, we have found it necessary (and convenient) to research and use other user's questions to answer some of our questions.

PS - Do you have any plans to release new joomla templates other than those built on gridbox?

Matt, I'm absolutely agree with you and we'll be happy to leave old forum, but, there was few reasons why we migrated to a new hosting and launched new forum and here is the main reason: old forum making a large number of queries to the database when users doing any actions on forum pages and as a result it's Down our website -"MySQL Database Error" and it's a main reason why we forced to remove it.

You must have noticed, that forums pages worked much slower than all another website pages.

And ofcourse new Forum Engine (Kunena) provide much better usability. Here we can provide better answers on questions :)

Gridbox, You know, it's a very interesting question.
I'm not sure that we are ready to open our future plans for Gridbox, but all future templates will be based on Gridbox. All our developers (I mean, our customers who build websites for final clients) build websites only on Gridbox and they are very happy with it. You don't need to open index.php to add full width position or go to admin to change title, you don't need to click save and then go to front, you don't need open custom.css to add some styles... Gridbox make life easier.

Very simple example, how much time take to create a Full Screen section (module position for standart Joomla templates) with Image background or video background + Image replacing for Mobile devices? With Gridbox no more than 30 seconds, and without a line of code! the benefits of Gridbox are evident.

I hope you are happy with our products and our support :)

Many thanks,
Artem

Hello Artem,

The new forum is definitely a nicer look and approach - and I completely understand the need!

We are very happy with both the support and the products. Having used gridbox to build several sites already, we can speak to it's ease of use and customization benefits.

One thing that I think of is a new site that we are developing using the old Fantom template structure. In this site, we have created animated css gradient backgrounds for certain module positions and a few other full customizations which I can't see being included in a gridbox based site.

Nonetheless, we are excited to see what you guys launch next!
