Hey guys hope you're all safe and well?

Any idea on how to retain index.php override when updating? The same old issue witj J4 as has always been in J*, I code in stuff like tracking and every update wipes my code, I don't like using plugins if I don't have to and add tons of JS, etc that slows sites down, but this is becoming a nightmare as every core update of Gridbox I have to go in and put the code back.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

Unfortunately, there is no way to protect files from being overwritten when updating.

Ok, then there poses the question, wouldn't it be a good idea to code into Gridbox an option for Analytics intergration? It's a pretty standard feature on any template builder, being able to just drop in Analytics GA code and even Facebook Pixel because every update to Gridbox wipes the index.php edits and creating overrides could cause issues with your core updates.

Food for thought.

You can integrate Analytics by pasting the code in Site Settings - General - Scripts - SCRIPT HEADER.
