Hello, can you tell me the purpose of everything opening in a new window in the Gridbox control panel are in the Joomla admin area?

I'm curious about why this happens.

Sorry, I am curious why you don't use "save and close" vs when I open page to edit it opens in a new tab on my browser.

Just wondering, I will get used to it.

I agree with you.

This is confusing for users. The message whether you are sure that you want to close tab is also difficult to explain.

The Gridbox editor is a 100% frontend editor. When you click on the page from the dashboard to start editing it, you redirects to frontend from the admin panel. Within the dashboard all links opening in the same tab

Hi Artem, my bad this was about the backend. But for frontend users a new tab is confusing for users.

The message whether you are sure that you want to close the tab after saving is also difficult to explain.

I suppose this is a technical limitation, but i would be great if you could pick a page in the edit mode and stay on this page. After saving you can continue to another page to edit. (i love GB :-)

Yes, absolutely right, it's a technical limitation since the Joomla have different user sessions for the admin panel and frontend. Sessions are not synchronized

So the new windows are taking you back and forth from frontend to backend?

This is confusing though. Can't a close option still be added and close the frontend window? I was working on something and did not realize I had it open in two windows, both the same page. I saved the old window and it destroyed all the work I did.

Thank you
